Public bug reported:

ubuntu: 18.04 bionic
running mnemoysne(2.4-0.1) via torify (tor: 0.3.2.10-1)
linux: Linux eva1 4.15.0-34-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Mon Aug 27 15:21:48 UTC 2018
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

1538858298 WARNING torsocks[11559]: [syscall] Unsupported syscall number 118.
Denying the call (in tsocks_syscall() at syscall.c:488)
[11559:11559:1006/163818.125761:FATAL:credentials.cc(47)] Check failed:
sys_getresuid(&ruid, &euid, &suid) == 0. : Function not implemented

(Which results in a mnemosyne crash, but that's mostly a symptom of this
failed call).

What should happen: torify should allow mnemosyne to communicate through tor
what actually happens: mnemosyne crashes (core dump) after the above failed
check

** Affects: tor (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: bionic
