  I'm not really sure what is triggering the issue. I've tried to update
  Ubiquity to the latest available version, but still cannot start the
  installation. Without updating Ubiquity, I cannot ever start the
  installer.

+ I found that people with HiPDI monitors ― I have a HP 23.8-inch FHD IPS
+ VH240a ― had issues while trying to install 18.04 and solved them
+ setting the Monitor scaling to 100%. This setting is already at 100% on
+ my system.
