After discussion with Mark, I understand that there is still some work
that needs to be done here to make the following entries less confusing
as to the expected values and the resulting behavior, but I'd rather not
block the current SRU with lots of useful new features and bugfixes
based on documentation. We've progressed with the changes (effectively,
the same as in the previous SRU round), and I'll process one further SRU
with more documentation changes following a review of the documentation.
