Ascaris, Just an idea I did changes to the touchpad settings at that point also. Not sure if that was the reason the messages stopped. 1. Switch off "tap to click" in the Ubuntu touchpad settings. 2. Used the Gnome tweaks tool to switch on the right button on the touchpad. "Mouse Click Emulation"->"Area, Click the bottom right of the touchpad for right click and the bottom middle for middle click" Hope this helps.
