Public bug reported:

What I did:

Open qterminal --drop via lxqt-runner, close it with the shortcut set in
qterminal's preferences (F12). Press F12 again.

What I expected to happen: Qterminal opens the dropdown window again.

What happened instead: Nothing.

What I also tried: I set the shortcut to F6 in qterminal's preferences,
then started a new instance via lxqt-runner. Now it seems to open when I
press F6, but most of the time it doesn't hide when I press F6 again -
instead it just flickers briefly, as if it were hiding and immediately
reopening.

Additional information:

Installed in VirtualBox, 3D acceleration disabled.
