Public bug reported:
I tried starting the application from both my app launcher and a
terminal. When I ran "telegram-desktop" in my terminal,the only thing it
did was printing the following:
$ telegram-desktop
QEventLoop: Cannot be used without QApplication
(telegram-desktop:3625): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: 22:07:57.298: cannot
register existing type 'GdkDisplayManager'
(telegram-desktop:3625): GLib-CRITICAL **: 22:07:57.298:
g_once_init_leave: assertion 'result != 0' failed
(telegram-desktop:3625): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 22:07:57.298:
g_object_new_with_properties: assertion 'G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)'
failed
It doesn't exit, and htop shows that it doesn't have any CPU use.
The snap version works fine.
