Hi, your log actually states the issue, see https://launchpadlibrarian.net/393131011/DpkgTerminalLog.txt
It is wrapped in this log, but on your console you'd have seen full lines. TL;DR: - the service needs a config and that config needs a fully qualified hostname. - it tries to derive that from your systems hostname, but if that isn't a FQDN it will fail to start - on any further upgrade it will be restarted which will fail until you have fixed the config TODO: - fix your configuration in /etc/amavis/conf.d/05-node_id to contain a valid FQDN -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797723 Title: package amavisd-new 1:2.10.1-2ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amavisd-new/+bug/1797723/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
