That's a known regression from commit https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME /gnome-shell/commit/fc5ab4470445992b1ad4338290deb24e6b1c5ce2
My suggestion is to revert the commit even if upstream disagrees. Their argument is that there are performances issue with the old behaviour (in a nutshell AtspiEventListener spams the dbus channel quite a lot), my argument is that osk is completly broken under xorg. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797381 Title: In tablet mode, step "Who are you" OSK hides when the passwordd field is focused To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1797381/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
