Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
I am using IMAP with Evolution. While I am online all the time, every 10
minutes my mail is checked.
Frequently I get an error like this:
Error while Pinging IMAP server mail.<my-domain>.com
This is a bit strange, since the mailserver is really reliable and has
no issues at all. But the real problem is, until I click this away
manually, Evolution will not check for mail again. Since I am running
Evolution minimized, I have to maximize it again and click away the
error message to get new mail. This makes the "check automatically for
new mail" function quite useless for me.
Expected behaviour:
Evolution may show the error message, but should nevertheless check again 10
minutes later when I am online.
