Additional Information: eth0 (wired) and eth1 (wireless) interfaces are controlled using netapp.
To get netatalk to work: Select eth0 as the primary interface in netatalk, then reboot and hope for the best. To get netatalk to fail: During a session, change interface from eth0 to eth1 and then back to eth0. During startup, if netapp configures eth0 interface first then netatalk services work normally. If eth0 is dropped or disabled and then reconfigured by netapp during the same session, netatalk services will fail until after the machine is rebooted. Reconfiguring eth0 using ifconfig has the same effect - netatalk services will subsequently fail until after reboot. If netapp configures eth1 as the first interface, and later adds eth0, then netatalk services will never work over eth0. -- netatalk fails intermittently with disabled interface https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159202 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
