I am sorry, I am sooo new at this and have only tried to report one bug before and was told it was not a bug. I promise I am not trying to be hard to get along with. I flat don't understand what I am doing.
I checked the forum and yes one other person saw it and that is the link I submitted in my first attempt. I checked the release notes and they point to https://ubuntu-mate.org/blog/ which is entitled: Ubuntu MATE 18.10 Final Release <https://ubuntu-mate.org/blog/ubuntu-mate-cosmic-final-release/>. The problem is in 18.04.1. So that is no help. I checked in Launchpad and it is not reported there either. I tried the first step and 1) I didn't know if I should run it in a terminal, 2) which Run to chose and 3) it disappears and does nothing. [image: image.png] I'm obviously doing something wrong, but don't know what. So I went to the next step and this is what I got. [image: image.png] At which point I am so confused, I don't want to mess up launchpad and I don't know what to do. For a newbie this is all very confusing. You tell me what to do next and I will try to do it.
