Public bug reported:
gvfsd-trash fills up memory (uses about 1 GB) if Trash contains
thousands of files (I had ~8000)
I noticed this on Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit with GNOME Shell installed:
~$ ps aux |grep -i trash
uni023 1910 6.2 20.0 1541900 789352 ? Sl 12:53 10:11
/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-trash --spawner :1.4 /org/gtk/gvfs/exec_spaw/0
Problem can be "solved" by emptying Trash bin.
