Public bug reported: Ubuntu 18.04 x64 Gthumb 3.6.1
Same issue as was reported here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=893661 Specifically this part: 'if I use the editing mode like "automatic contrast adjustment" and "rotate". From 500 Mb it grows till all my 8 Gb RAM are occupied and the computer freezes.' This means that one has to manually keep an eye on the memory usage of Gthumb and close it periodically in order to not have a completely frozen system. Just looking through photos increases the memory used by Gthumb, let alone editing the photos which only increases the memory faster. ** Affects: gthumb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Ubuntu 18.04 x64 Gthumb 3.6.1 Same issue as was reported here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=893661 Specifically this part: 'if I use the editing mode like "automatic - contrast adjustment" and "rotate".
