Public bug reported:
update gcc-6 to the final GCC 6.5.0 release. GCC 6.5.0 is the last
upstream release taken from the gcc-6 branch. Backport it to bionic (and
we have to backport it to cosmic as well), to make the latest version
available.
Acceptance criteria: The package builds on all architectures and the
testsuite doesn't show regressions compared to the earlier gcc-6 uploads
to the distro.
Regression potential: There is potential in adding new regressions with
compiler updates, however this is the last version from the upstream
branch, so I don't expect many of them. gcc-6 is not used for package
building, so no package build is affected by the update, and shared
libraries are provided by newer GCC versions.
For the cross compilers, the packages should just build.
