Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
The page http://mormontruth.blogspot.com maxes out firefox's cpu usage for... I dunno... a couple of minutes or something, after which firefox crashes. When I open the same page in Opera, the process operapluginwrapper uses a lot of cpu time, but the browser doesn't seem to crash (although the page didn't finish loading even after several minutes, so I can't say for certain that it wouldn't have crashed if I'd left it half an hour longer. Because of the trouble I have had loading the page I haven't managed to get a snapshot of the html code, but I don't imagine the basic format will have changed – it's basically an extremely long diatribe with a lot of embedded video. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- massive web page with lots of video crashes firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160869 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
