Public bug reported:
I am running Ubuntu 18.10 Cosmic and when using the packaged Maven 3.5.4
it fails to run on JDK7 with "java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError:
org/apache/maven/cli/MavenCli : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0".
By looking in the manifests, I have found that this is due to the
package maintainer compiling it on JDK11, whereas the version supplied
by Apache is compiled on JDK7 and runs on JDK7, 8 and 11 fine.
The packaged version of 3.5.3 also worked fine on all those JDKs.
