You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I like to sometimes use Lubuntu images as live drives to do work with
encrypted filesystems, however Lubuntu 18.04 and 18.04.1 images have a
bug that makes this annoying: it is not initially possible to open a
LUKS-encrypted disk from the file manager as it fails with "Error
bd_crypto_luks_open_blob called but not implemented". To fix this
requires first connecting to internet and then running:
sudo apt install libblockdev-crypto2
sudo systemctl restart udisks2.service
Hopefully in the next release (18.04.2), the package libblockdev-crypto2
will be included by default!
