unfortunately this seems like a (common) configuration error to me.
I can't derive a good hint for you from your description, but checking search 
engines shows me plenty of links like:

With the data provides here it is not actionable as a bug in Ubuntu since I'd 
not even know where to start.
Could you follow the links above and similar ones.
If you find that it is a config errors then other users might benefit from you 
stating what fixed it for you.

If you eventually find a bug in the actual package update this bug here
and set it back to new.
