I prefer to run this script from a terminal since I open one the first thing I
do but found a way to fix related to what others have done with a desktop
shortcut.
I tried a `systemctl service` upon login but it errors on so many items
that I gave up.
Following the third answer's direction's - login with bad configuration:
cd .config
mv monitors.xml{,.bak}
Now set your monitors with system settings.
Copy fixed script with `wget
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alextomko/monitors/master/monitors`
and put it in a path to run from terminal.
cd /home/$USER/bin
mkdir /home/$USER/bin
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alextomko/monitors/master/monitors
mv monitors /home/$USER/bin/monitors
chmod +x /home/$USER/bin/monitors
# Run it
monitors
