Hi Dimitri, I'm not 'validating SRUs' per se, I just use the daily builds (I am aware these are unsupported, I was not aware these can come with non release configurations) to overcome some of the (sometime serious) issues the released 18.04.1 server-live installer has, some of which have thankfully since been fixed (but others remain).
If you are saying that the daily images are expected to break and no bugs should be reported about them then I guess it would help to just add a README file saying so to the directory they're placed in, or to add a note to the already existing HTML header + footer at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/bionic/daily-live/current/ (which so far does not mention that they're likely to be broken at all).
