According to the dpkg history log:
- on 2018-10-23 chromium-browser (69.0.3497.81-0ubuntu0.18.04.1) and
chromium-browser-l10n (69.0.3497.81-0ubuntu0.18.04.1) were installed
- on 2018-10-24 removal was requested for both packages, but package
chromium-browser-l10n was at version 70.0.3538.67-0ubuntu0.18.04.1
whereas chromium-browser was still at version
69.0.3497.81-0ubuntu0.18.04.1
@Branislav: I wonder how the versions got out of sync. Could it be that
you manually downloaded and installed a deb for chromium-browser-l10n
(that seems unlikely, but asking just in case) ?
If you apply all available updates, are you then able to remove
chromium-browser?
