Public bug reported: In 18.04.
Allowing custom preview text is absolutely crucial for a font preview tool, and it's been something font-manager has always had. It's so easy to implement, I can't see any no reason to remove such an important feature. As FontMatrix is long since dead, there is now no way to view a custom text when deciding what font to install or use, a crucial feature for graphic design work. ** Affects: font-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1804137 Title: Font-Manager does not allow custom prevew text To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/font-manager/+bug/1804137/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
