Hi! So, when I loged on and the gnome started first, (after the system stand up). I was create a file for my home directory: .preferences or .profile? (sorry this was another computer on the University and I'm not there any more). And these file is a standard auto start file, for the linux systems. I create a line for these file: gaim. Then the gaim started before anything else can starting. I can close this for Ctrl-Q (but nothing else) and then booting my user profile.
Later I create line, the Startup Program list, then the Gaim is started twice, but the second start is the correct time, and place. AND then vhem I updateing my sytem to Dapper Drake, the problem is gone, and the .profile file is working correctly. And for now I can't reply the problem. And I can't use the computer, which create the problem. (oh it was a AMD46 bit processor, I think is 2000+) I'm so sorry but this is all, I remember. :-( Carthik Sharma írta: > kanyi, > > Could you please check to see if you .xinitrc file has gaim set to start > before gnome-session, or if in System->Preferences->Sessions, gaim is > listed in the "Startup Programs" list? > > Please let us know.
