Public bug reported:
Printer settings (via CUPS or System Settings -> Printers) have letter
paper and duplex specified. When printing from okular, settings used are
A4 paper and non-duplex printing so every print job requires manual
setting of the correct printer settings. These changes are not stored.
Other non-KDE applications, such as LibreOffice or Firefox, correctly
use the system settings. This behaviour is repeatable and has been
observed on both Kubuntu 18.04 systems that I use.
I expect okular (and other KDE programs) to print according to the setup
in System Settings -> Printers and not use a hard-wired default.
/etc/papersize = letter
