Thank you Dann. Those fixes should unblock startup of libvirt on ThunderX. Keep in mind that only hostdev config will work on this platform as <interface type="hostdev"> is not supported.
<hostdev mode="subsystem" type="pci" managed="yes"> <driver name="vfio"/> <source> <address type="pci" domain="0x0002" bus="0x1" slot="0x0" function="0x2"/> </source> </hostdev> In case you find and issues keep me informed. I will send v3. Changes for v3 are about where to report error and should not influence on functionality. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1771662 Title: [bionic] libvirtError: Node device not found: no node device with matching name To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/charm-nova-compute/+bug/1771662/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
