@osomon are you sure ? The icon in /usr/lib/firefox/distribution/searchplugins/ ddg.xml is different than the one in https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/raw- file/tip/browser/components/search/searchplugins/ddg.xml , and it looks normal in Fedora 29.
