Tried the suggestion that @Shrikant suggested but had an error.
I suggest heading to the FTp folder here
http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/pool/contrib/m/msttcorefonts/
and get the latest version. Currently its
ttf-mscorefonts-installer_3.7_all.deb
so ran
sudo dpkg -i ttf-mscorefonts-installer_3.7_all.deb
