I have the non-NFC model. I'm running Ubuntu 18.10 with the latest stable kernel (4.19.6) and latest libinput (1.12.1). I have set the kernel boot parameter psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=0.
I have BIOS 1.34 and the very latest touchpad firmware (released 4th Dec) (I booted into Windows to install the FW update). During my initial testing the touchpad has survived multiple suspends which was most definitely not the case before. For my setup the crucial thing was the touchpad FW update along with the boot parameter. I will report here if I encounter further problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1791427 Title: Touchpad and/or trackpoint stop working after S3 suspend on Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1791427/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
