The packages libopenmpi-dev and libopenmpi2 in Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
install OpenMPI v2.1.1-8 which is subject to the following bug:
https://github.com/open-mpi/ompi/issues/3695
As the bug is fixed in OpenMPI v2.1.5, these fixes should be backported
to the packages provided by Ubuntu 18.04.
