Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-14-generic

I have a thinkpad x60 tablet with AR5212 wireless, using the ath_pci
driver. When using this driver, the antenna power is always on,
regardless of the wireless power switch state, and the wireless
indicator LED is always off. If I try to set the antenna power on the
command line, I get:

# iwconfig ath0 power off
Error for wireless request "Set Power Management" (8B2C) :
SET failed on device ath0 ; Operation not supported.

Power management is supported and works perfectly using the ndiswrapper
driver, however this driver comes with its own set of probems so I would
rather use the madwifi (or another?) driver.

** Affects: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
