Public bug reported:
Simply running qtconfig and saving the (unchanged) settings breaks some
applications.
Reproduce for example with ipe:
1. apt-get install ipe
2. rm .config/Trolltech.conf
3. run ipe. Everything is fine (see screenshot)
4. run qtconfig. Temporarily change some setting, then set it back and save the
configuration.
5. run ipe. The interface is completely messed up. (see screenshot)
6. delete .config/Trolltech.conf -> ipe works fine again.
