Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I am using ubuntu gutsy with the "intel" driver on a thinkpad x60
tablet. My graphics card is "Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS,
943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)" using
1400x1050 resolution.
The problem: if I start a GL app (such as glxgears) with the screen rotated, X
immediately crashes and does not restart. I am left with a blank screen and no
way to access a console. The only error message I found related to this was:
kdm[5442]: X server for display :0 terminated unexpectedly
