Public bug reported:

I installed ndiswrapper on my girlfriends laptop in Fiesty (Acer Aspire
1762LMi) and it worked fine once I blacklisted bcm... Upgraded the
machine to Gutsy today and ndiswrapper appeared not to work.

ndiswrapper -l tells me the driver is installed and working
iwlist scanning tells me that there are no results.

I then built ndiswrapper from source and tried again. Same problem.

Then after getting fed up clicked "Connec to Other Network" from the
network manager applet, asked it to connect to "fnjkdshfksjhfdk" after
which, it listed the local networks correctly. I get the same thing on
reboots too, no networks, ask it to connect to a something random, then
it lists properly.

The network card is an Inprocomm IPN2220 pci card.
