Hello Timo, or anyone else affected, Accepted xorg-hwe-18.04 into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg- hwe-18.04/1:7.7+19ubuntu8~18.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
