Public bug reported:
Currently, smartmontools in disco appears to be 6.6-1, according to
rmadison:
smartmontools | 6.6-1 | disco | source,
amd64, arm64, armhf, i386, ppc64el, s390x
Upstream is now 6.7 and includes support for NVMe devices that was not
present before. This needs to be updated so that Ubuntu will support
smartctl and smartd on NVMe devices that support SMART.
Once in Disco, we need to see about backporting this to 18.04 to get
that NVMe support into Bionic.
NOTE: This is relayed from a hardware partner, I'm waiting on a link to
the 6.7 download/source they are using.
