Public bug reported:
Dear Maintainer,
WhatsApp Web is not working out of the box on Chromium on Ubuntu. This is due
to User Agent detection on WhatsApp side which block non supported browser.
The Ubuntu Chromium modify the User Agent string to insert Ubuntu Chromium
instead of Chrome.
I can see the will of showing the presence of chromium on the web, however, it
comes at the cost of frustrating user that might download regular Chrome since
their website doens't seem to work on Chromium.
Would you consider not modifying the original User Agent of the Chromium
release ?
Best regards,
Nicolas Badoux
