Got an icon on top and it showed a message 'This usually means your installed
packages have unmet dependencies'. Clicked on it and got a message that I was
asked to report
An unresolvable problem occurred while initialising the package information.
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include
the following error message:
'E:Could not open file /var/lib/dpkg/status - open (5 Input/output
error), E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or
opened.'
