It turns out that the rt61 has several open source drivers (in fact it appears to only have open source drivers). I tried several others including two different ones from SerialMonkey and one from Ralink themselves. I couldn't get any working with WPA.
It is annoying that Gutsy broke something that worked in Feisty. But I'll settle for you just telling me what card to buy in Frys that will just work well with Ubuntu. (I actually need at least two). I'm sure it would be useful to others as well. -- rt61 doesn't work in gutsy (worked in feisty) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159429 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
