Public bug reported:
This occured after the end-of an upgrade from Ubuntu 17.04 LTS to 18.04
LTS. The upgrade failed at about the 75% point of the installation of
the new packages (before cleanup and re-boot). I subsequently recovered
the installation from the command line of the installer (with the
command "apt --fix-package install"). The reboot revealed several
problems that were described in the error dialog boxes as they occured.
I will attempt to re-install the packages.
