Public bug reported:
Unloved, complex Ubuntu-only package that doesn't seem to get a lot of
usage based on the lack of bug reports. The new upstream version hasn't
been packaged, and it's unlikely someone has enough context to do it (it
requires a kernel patch to work properly). No reverse dependencies.
It was removed from Debian a long time ago for being unmaintained/buggy.
It should probably be packaged there if there's still an interest in it.
