Yes, you should reinstall the original kernel to replace the test kernel
provided by me, and you have to add back that line to alsa-base.conf so
that LEDs will work.

I suggest you to report the F11 LED issue to upstream kernel at

This fix will be included in all kernels in the future, but that will take
some time as it takes time to backport.
