Commenting to help others: I'm on Ubuntu 18.10 on a Lenovo L540 laptop and had the same problem. I didn't have i2c_i801 in my blacklist either, but still the touchpad would be unresponsive after suspend (so not a duplicate of #1786574). Adding "psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=0" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in /etc/default/grub seems to have solved it for me as well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1788928 Title: psmouse: after sleep/suspend thinkpad touchpad not functional To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1788928/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
