Hi, I have the same bug on my Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th Gen, Model: 20KGS03800. I am running KDE neon 5.14 and I added psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=1 to the boot parameters.
I attached the output of "journalctl -b 0 -k" before I installed the patched kernel from Aaron (I ran kernel 4.18.13-041813-generic if that is of use) and after installing the patched kernel. (I started testing yesterday evening so there are two logs). So far the patch does work for me: After every suspend the trackpoint and its buttons did resume and work properly, the touchpad worked all the time for me. Many thanks so far for the fix, much appreciated! ** Attachment added: "Before the patch" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1791427/+attachment/5232515/+files/journalctl_before-patch_Jan24.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1791427 Title: Touchpad and/or trackpoint stop working after S3 suspend on Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1791427/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
