Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: bash
1. Open a terminal and go to a folder that has some .ps and .pdf files inside
of it.
2. Type: "kpdf " then press tab. Bash will list folders and the .pdf files
present, but none of the postscript files.
It looks like the tab completion is being too smart, it tries to only
show the types of files the program can open, but as it turns out kpdf
works just fine for postscript (.ps) files.
Question: Is the completion information stored as part of bash or a
separate package? Has anyone considered making an API so app developers
can specify how completion should work? That would help prevent this
sort of bug.
** Affects: bash (Ubuntu)
