Texts containing some specific pairs of letters are always copied wrong, like
this (case sensitive, the last letter "e" doesn't affect the result):
'The' - 'Th
e'
'fle' - 'fl
e'
'fie' - 'fi
e'
__
versions at least up to 1.13.0+ds1-3
It happens in all documents where text can be copied at all, and these
fragments are copied normally in xpdf.
