Hi,
After upgrading my Ubuntu 18.04 LTS to the new kernel 4.15.0-44 on my
Dell Precision 5520, as soon as I connect the Dell Thunderbolt Dock TB16
the screen flickers, blanks and freezes... :-( I have to perform a "hard
shutdown" (long press the power button) to halt.
On previous kernel (4.15.0-43) the screen flickers 2 times but
everything is good after that. For now, I have to hit Esc on startup to
enter Grub and boot the this old kernel.
Please give us a working kernel update... very soon ;-)
