With the newest updates to 18 & with the HP VGA monitor attached I can
enter the pswd but will NOT get to the home screen. It hangs at a black
screen.
If I detach the VGA cable I can power down and boot up to the internal
Laptop screen then attach the VGA after logging into Ubuntu. All is fine
