Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Using Kubuntu - after upgrading to gutsy (Also going to x64) documents
printed using openoffice writer hang/or lockup the printer with an error
79.00FE "Printer Error" on display of LaserJet 8000DN at my house.
Thought it was a hardware issue until I tried to print the same document
on my girlfriends computer (Gutsy as well, but x86) and it locked up her
LaserJet 4050N with the same error. Both printers configured on the
network with PostScript driver (recommended) and a fixed IP of
192.168.1.99
cups log isn't informative, but abiwork does print the odt OK. and
everything else seems to print ok after a "COLD" printer reboot.
openoffice.org-core 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.1 Sat Oct 20 15:09:53 GMT 2007
Also removed/reinstalled the printer to no avail. Seems to be an OO
only prob.
** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
