Wait, 
I still think there's a problem with the ubuntustudio package:
As shown in the attached screenshot, ubuntustudio-audio recommends 
linux-image-rt.  

>From synaptic:
linux-rt depends on:
linux-image-rt
linux-restricted-modules-rt

However, 
linux-image-rt does not depend on lrm-rt

If ubuntustudio-audio were to reccommend linux-rt instead of linux-image-rt, 
then this original problem would probably never have arisen.
While packages from universe cannot have dependencies from multiverse, they can 
have recommendations from multiverse.
