Public bug reported:

Launching falkon on kubuntu cosmic causes it to start with the following
complaint:

Plugin "KDEFrameworksIntegration.so" not found
Invalid plugin spec of "lib:KDEFrameworksIntegration.so" plugin

Because the KDE integration plugin is not present in the deb and likely
not built at all in the packaging of Falkon. As a consequence, falkon
knows nothing of the KDE KIO mechanism. This mean that the value of
falkon on the KDE desktop is significantly hindered, not being usable as
an alternative for the venerable konqueror.

This is certainly a packaging issue, since the Falkon author confirms
that the KDE Frameworks plugin is currently maintained in falkon, but
some of the build requirements may have changed recently.
